one crucial aspect of R32 is its flammability. Although it is a gas at room temperature, under its own pressure, it transforms into a colorless transparent liquid. It is highly soluble in oil but not water. In the air, R32 has a flammability limit of approximately 14% to 31%, meaning it can ignite and explode if exposed to an ignition source. Due to its flammability, the use of R32 in air-conditioning equipment poses additional safety hazards during installation and maintenance. Special precautions must be taken, such as avoiding the placement of combustible materials within 2 meters of the equipment and using high-quality connection tubing.
